ABOUT ME
I am a camera operator specializing in documentary and unscripted television in Vancouver, BC. My passion is for the outdoors, adventure, travel, and sports - my goal is to tell deeply human stories and their relationship to the environment.
After working on the post production side of visual effects for major studios, I moved into documentary film post production, working on The Nature of Things for CBC and America's Wild Seasons for Smithsonian Channel.
But my main focus in the past few years has been as a cinematographer in the field - immersing myself into peoples' lives and experiences, while working in uncontrolled and tough environments. I enjoy the small crews and intimacy and freedom that it provides. This path has taken me into Northern BC working with jade miners, to following tow truck drivers on high mountain passes, and to a surfer in San Diego looking to make it to the Paralympics.
I want to capture beautiful and deeply moving imagery that tells impactful stories. Do you have a project you'd like to work on together? Let's get in touch.
